Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As a Senior Team Leader – Kubernetes Platform SRE, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, supporting their Private Cloud team. You will spearhead the development, scaling, and maintenance of the internal Kubernetes platform, ensuring top-tier reliability, performance, and security for global operational excellence. This role offers a unique chance to influence cutting-edge infrastructure and drive continuous innovation.
Responsibilities
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Lead and support a small, agile team in maintaining and improving the IKP infrastructure
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and high performance of the Kubernetes platform
- Collaborate on diagnosing complex infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions
- Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Kubernetes environment
- Perform root cause analysis and implement proactive reliability improvements
- Manage incident response and troubleshooting, including participation in 24x7 on-call rotations
- Work closely with global teams to align on best practices and ensure seamless operations
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, troubleshooting, and operations
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Unix systems administration
- Knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in English
- Proven leadership skills in supporting and managing small technical teams
