Lead Consultant Requirements, Portfolio and Program Management

Project overview

For a client in Bonn, we are currently looking for a Lead Consultant Requirements, Portfolio and Program Management — Remote/Koblenz/Dresden

Responsibilities

– Support in requirements management: Recording, formal checking, prioritization, and evaluation of requirements (feasibility, economic viability, risk analysis)

– Creation of decision papers for committees and development of recommendations for action

– Portfolio Management and IT Service Portfolio Management including further development of the portfolio segment strategy and economic feasibility studies

– Program management including controlling service delivery with a focus on service level reporting, reporting, and KPIs

– Release Management and Lifecycle Management

– IT Governance and committee work: Moderation of regular meetings and preparation of contributions for committee reporting

– Strategic planning and control of IT services

– Further development of processes and updating of concepts and manuals

– Taking on sub-project or project management functions

Requirements

– At least 7 years of professional experience

– Several years of experience in IT project management

– Experience in IT Service Controlling

– Experience in committee and stakeholder management

– Experience in sub-project or project management functions

– Very good knowledge of requirements and portfolio management processes as well as the creation of IT service profiles

– Knowledge of the requirements and portfolio management processes of public clients in the defense sector

– Knowledge of the architectures and service portfolios of full-service providers

– Experience in analyzing and evaluating requirements for IT solutions in complex IT architectures as well as in creating requirement, technology, and cost analyses

– Very good knowledge of the further development of the overarching target architecture for services (architectural principles, reference architectures)

– Knowledge of strategic initiatives and measures within the IT organization in the business area of the BMVg

– Knowledge of the Customer Product Management (product-related demand coverage and utilization) and Integrated Planning processes

– Particularly relevant: Experience in Portfolio and Demand Management, Service Portfolio Management as well as Release and Lifecycle Management

– Particularly relevant: Experience in the military, BMVg or BAAINBw environment, with IT-SysBw as well as with enterprise and target architectures

– Certifications: PMP or Prince2 and SAFe or Scrum

– ITIL certification (Service Portfolio and Requirements Management according to ITIL or ISO/IEC 20000)

– Experience with Jira and SharePoint

– German at least C1, English at least B1

Utilization: Full-time (5 days per week)
