Seeking an experienced Lead Enterprise Platform Architect with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI for a strategic AI transformation project at a leading Swiss company.
Project overview
For a strategic AI transformation project at a leading Swiss company, we are looking for an experienced Lead Enterprise Platform Architect with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
The goal of the project is to develop a company-wide, secure, and scalable AI architecture. Existing and future AI use cases are to be architecturally harmonized across various business areas, platforms, and IT environments.
Your responsibilities include defining an overarching architectural vision, designing central AI capabilities, and developing a pragmatic and economically viable roadmap. You will be responsible for developing a company-wide AI target architecture, including architectural principles, and will conduct the analysis of existing and future AI capabilities. This includes the areas of AI Control, AI Platform, AI Transparency, and AI Governance.
Further focal points include designing scalable architectures for Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and agentic systems, integrating Security-by-Design and data protection, and conceptualizing AI governance mechanisms. You will evaluate architectural variants considering economic viability and Total Cost of Ownership and develop a prioritized, feasible architecture roadmap.
You will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Platform Architects, Security, Data Protection, and Management, and present complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
At least 8 years of experience in IT architecture in complex enterprise environments, demonstrable experience with AI architectures in large organizations, and at least 2 reference projects with responsibility for overarching target architectures are expected. Profound understanding of modern AI technologies, capability-based architecture, and federated platform models, as well as experience in building AI governance structures, are required.
