Project overview

Task Description:

Furthermore, the following are required:

• Conception of enterprise-critical software used in all network environments (fabric, load balancer, security elements)
• Verification and, if necessary, rework of design and implementation concepts for the automatically provided IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings (=Cloud Services) by incorporating best practice approaches and supporting the installation and configuration of the tools mentioned under software products.
• Connection of network infrastructures to the Cloud Self Service Portal (CSSP) and to the BA's peripheral systems (interface development)
• Creation, integration, documentation, and testing of the created cloud services, including their automation, with a focus on the network and the requirements from the line transition of the NETSEC UP1 project
• Localization, analysis, and elimination of software errors in the provided scripts and tools.
• Establishment of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery in the network environment, including integration into automated tests
• Investigation of the feasibility of business and technical requirements, and joint development of suitable solutions aligned with the BA's overall architecture
• Consideration of the BA IT strategy and the requirements from the line transition of the NETSEC UP1 project
• Recommendations for further development as an automated resource pool (network, hypervisor, etc.) and other network infrastructures with regard to the IT strategy, from the perspective of the strategic further development of the BA IT.
• The BA internal track & trace tools (JIRA, ARS Remedy, serviceNOW) must be used and considered in the deployment concept. When developing and deploying software for provision and commissioning, the development approaches for Agile Software Development (Kanban) must be considered.

• Ensuring the current state of the art regarding automation solutions in load balancing
• Conducting conceptual tests on the suitability of the software products
• Installing the selected software products and configuring them appropriately for use
• Creating the necessary configurations for the automated process to run precisely
• Carrying out initial commissioning and defining standard activities for ongoing operation
• Knowledge transfer to internal technical specialists and operations personnel
• Documentation of solutions in the area of load balancing in the field of automation
