Experienced Lead Software Engineer with ServiceNow SecOps expertise needed to technically implement security operations requirements within an existing ServiceNow landscape. The role is predominantly remote in an agile project environment.
Project overview
For an ongoing IT security and ServiceNow project, we are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer / ServiceNow SecOps expert to support the technical implementation of security operations requirements within an existing ServiceNow landscape. The assignment will be predominantly remote in an agile project environment. The functional requirements and solution designs will be provided and should be implemented technically independently.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and further development of ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)
- Implementation of technical requirements based on existing solution architectures
- Development and customization of workflows, automations, and business rules
- Creation and extension of integrations via REST and SOAP interfaces
- Development with JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform
- Configuration of dashboards, reports, and monitoring solutions
- Support with tests, error analysis, and deployment activities
- Creation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Participation in an agile project environment using modern development methods
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the development and configuration of ServiceNow
- Very good knowledge of:
- JavaScript
- Flow Designer
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- REST/SOAP integrations
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows and automation processes
- Project experience in agile development and implementation projects
Nice to have
Framework Data
- Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and compliance processes
- Experience with CMDB and CI-relationships
- Know-how in the area of MID Server integrations
- Understanding of the ServiceNow USEM architecture
- Certifications such as:
- ServiceNow CIS-VR
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Location: Remote
