Job description
Lead Solution Architect needed to manage and evolve the PLM landscape, focusing on business requirements analysis, solution design, and integration with SAP.
Project overview
Responsibility for the support, stabilization, and further development of the PLM landscape after go-live.
Analysis and gathering of business requirements in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM).
Conception and implementation of functional and technical solution designs.
Support and further development of PTC Windchill, FlexPLM, and PTC Creo.
Configuration of workflows, data models, as well as customizing and release management.
Ensuring integration between PLM/PDM systems and SAP.
Support for hypercare after product launch, as well as conducting a Phase 2 analysis and roadmap definition.
Collaboration with internal departments, IT teams, and external implementation partners.
Execution of tests, validations, and deployments.
Presentation of solution approaches, effort estimations, and recommendations to business departments and management.
Ensuring compliance with architectural specifications, governance guidelines, and quality standards.
Continuous optimization of PLM, PDM, and Engineering-to-Production processes.
Requirements
Several years of practical experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Senior Consultant in the PLM environment.
Very good knowledge of PTC Windchill, especially workflow configuration, data modeling, and system administration.
Experience with FlexPLM and common PLM integration scenarios.
Experience in the integration and support of PLM/PDM solutions in SAP landscapes.
Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Product Data Governance, and Application Lifecycle Management.
Good knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing processes, ideally in Make-to-Order (MTO) environments.
Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience in presenting solution designs and effort estimations at management level.
Very good English skills.
