Today, we are looking for a Talend Tech Expert / Lead to join one of our clients in the insurance sector in Niort.

Context

As part of the maintenance and evolution of its Data platform, our client wishes to strengthen its expertise around Talend. You will act as the technical referent for Talend 8, playing a key role in supporting teams, ensuring the reliability of processes, and modernizing the Data environment. You may also contribute to the evolution of the Generic Foundation in Java / Spring Boot.

• Act as the technical referent for Talend 8 and support teams in their development.
• Analyze and resolve anomalies related to ETL processes, particularly in Big Data / Spark environments.
• Participate in compatibility work between Talend, Cloudera CDP, and Spark 3.
• Maintain and evolve the CORE and HOWTO reference projects: joblets, context variables, metadata, and development patterns.
• Intervene on the structure of Talend projects and contribute to the maintenance of specific components.
• Disseminate best practices and support Tech Leads.
• Participate in developments and technical evolutions in Java / Spring Boot.
• Analyze and correct anomalies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and reliability of the technical foundation.

• You have significant experience in ETL development and excellent mastery of Talend.
• You have previously worked in a Cloudera / Big Data environment.
• You master Java and have good knowledge of Spark.
• You are capable of analyzing complex Data processes and diagnosing anomalies.
• You are familiar with the industrialization challenges of development and build chains.
• Experience in migrating or modernizing Data processes would be a real plus.
