Lean Manager / Alliance Manager (BALL) / ASAP / Hamburg / Approx. 50% Remote Possible

Project overview

The function forms the operational interface between the central Lean and Alliance organization of the Bahnallianz Lübeck-Lensahn (BALL) and a project section with multiple sub-projects.

The focus is on implementing Lean and collaboration principles in daily project work and supporting project and sub-project managers within the alliance model.

Focus areas:

The role combines Lean Management, Project Steering, and Alliance Management.

Experience in managing complex railway infrastructure or comparable large-scale projects, a good understanding of planning, approval, and realization processes, as well as strong moderation and communication skills are required.

Experience from IPA/Alliance models, Lean Construction, or comparable collaborative project approaches is advantageous.

• Moderation and preparation of Lean/LPM steering meetings
• Measures, interface, and escalation management
• Support for project and sub-project managers in operational steering
• Conducting workshops (e.g., phase, process, and takt planning)
• Ensuring information flow between the overall project and sub-project organization
• Transparency regarding tasks, risks, dependencies, and decisions
• Promotion of binding and partnership-based cooperation within the alliance
