Job description
Seeking a Legal Advisor for the physical domain to advise on legal issues, handle procedures, and contribute to the implementation of the Environmental Act.
Project overview
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising colleagues, management, and the board on legal issues within the physical domain
- Handling objection, appeal, and higher appeal procedures on behalf of the board
- Advising on the Environmental Act, APV, special laws, and permit granting
- Participating in the further implementation and application of the Environmental Act
- Acting as Bibob coordinator and advising on subversion and integrity risks
- Advising on APV-related topics such as event permits and public order
- Participating in the P&C cycle within VTH, including estimating fee income
- Following developments in laws and regulations and contributing to legal quality assurance
- Acting as a sparring partner for management and the board on complex files
- WO master's degree in Dutch Law, preferably with a specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law
- Knowledge of and practical experience with the Environmental Act
- Knowledge of the APV, special laws, Bibob, and/or subversion issues
- Extensive legal experience gained within the physical domain at a municipality
