• Operating and monitoring the systems for water extraction, water treatment, and water distribution from the WTV Central Control Room in morning, evening, and night shifts
• Performing tasks in the control room as a central reporting point and as an information and coordination center
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work during daytime shifts in the area of mechanical and plant engineering, such as functional checks, troubleshooting and fixing faults and malfunctions, inspection and maintenance work on pumps, blowers and fittings, on pressure boosting and conveying systems, on chemical storage, preparation and dosing systems, and on other water technology systems (e.g., well, filter, clarification and dewatering systems, pressure vessels, disinfection systems)
• Completed vocational training in the field of machine fitter/industrial mechanic
• maintenance, mechanical or plant engineering, operational engineering, or comparable
• Relevant knowledge and several years of professional experience in the field of large-scale technical plants are an advantage
• Independent and responsible work according to instructions and work plans in combined day (maintenance/repair) and shift work (control room)
• Driver's license class 3 or B is necessary, BE is desirable
