Job description
The role involves developing and managing integrated master schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring baseline governance, progress tracking, performance analysis, and reporting for construction projects.
Project overview
- Integrated Master Schedule, IMS) in MS Project
- Logically linked IMS, developed jointly with subject matter experts (SMEs) + Integration of the schedules of BOP contractors and subcontractors + Definition of milestones, deliverables, interfaces, and dependencies in accordance with project requirements
- Baseline and Schedule Governance: + Baseline schedule including Basis of Schedule and schedule description + Assessment of schedule integrity and quality, including DCMA-14-Point Check, with documented improvement measures
- Ongoing Schedule Update & Progress Measurement + Periodic updates considering actuals and forecast dates + Data collection with contractors to ensure timely and consistent input + Quick updates to support time-critical analyses in case of threats
- Schedule Performance Analysis + Analysis of the critical path and constraints + Quantification of the impact of delays, bottlenecks, and changes + Development of mitigation and workaround scenarios to protect essential milestones
- Resource Management & Optimization + Resource-loaded schedules (if necessary) to represent resource demand versus availability + Identification of resource gaps and conflicts, and proposals for smoothing and optimization
- Inputs for Risk & Claim Management + Contributions to schedule risk analysis and recommendations for buffer times in collaboration with SMEs + Support for EOT/delay analyses, including As-Planned vs. As-Built and Time-Impact Analyses, to reduce liquidated damages risks (LDs)
- Reporting & Dashboards + Status reports on progress, deviations from baseline, milestone tracking, and key issues + Dashboards with schedule KPIs and decision-making bases + Maintenance of version-controlled schedule documentation
- Contributions to Continuous Improvement + Implementation of best practices in schedule management and utilization of lessons learned and standards + Development and application of tools and templates to improve schedule reliability and efficiency
Requirements
Must-haves:
+ At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in project planning and schedule control with MS Project
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
+ Excel
+ German (min. C2)
+ English (min. C1)
