For our client in the enterprise environment, we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) for the recording, analysis, and documentation of existing IT infrastructures.

The focus is on analyzing technical dependencies, securing operational knowledge, and creating sustainable operational and support documentation.

• Recording and analysis of existing IT infrastructures
• Identification of technical dependencies and Single Points of Failure (SPOF)
• Consolidation and quality assurance of existing documentation
• Recording and structuring of operational knowledge
• Creation of operating manuals, runbooks, and support documentation
• Documentation of special solutions and operational processes
• Coordination with technical contacts and stakeholders
• Several years of experience in the infrastructure and server environment
• Profound Linux knowledge, especially NixOS and Rocky Linux
• Experience with server and storage infrastructures
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewalling
• Experience with VMware and Incus
• Knowledge of Ansible and NixOS-based automation
• Very good analysis and documentation skills
• Ideally, experience in the enterprise environment
• Location: Remote (approx. 25% in Frankfurt am Main)
• Project start: immediately
• Project duration: approx. 12 months
