Linux System Administrator with GCP Skills

Project overview

Context

We are looking for a System Administrator, or possibly a DevOps profile with a strong system focus.

The DevOps service will be provided within the Digital & New Services Directorate (DIR-DNS) on the Digital Backbone platform, in conjunction with the Solution Delivery Lead (SDL), the DevOps chapter referent, and in collaboration with the Product Owner of the "Digital Backbone" team.

Missions

The expected activities are as follows:

Deliverables

· Scripts and configurations for automating service deployment

· CI/CD pipelines compliant with security requirements and Renault DevOps chapter recommendations

· Technical documentation for infrastructure components as well as CI/CD chains

· Dashboards for monitoring Digital Backbone services.

• Mastery of Linux with recent and significant practice: we are looking for profiles with real operational experience on Linux (and not just a skill mentioned on the CV or a first approach).
• Good mastery of GCP.
• Practice with Bash and Python.
• Solid experience in system administration, operation, and maintenance in operational conditions.
• Messaging or integration technologies like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka.
• GitLab.
• Deployment of components and services related to the Digital Backbone project using Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate service deployment, from the development environment to production.
• Contribution to operational support (RUN) and incident resolution in case of malfunction.
• Implementation of monitoring and alerts for the Digital Backbone platform.
• Writing and updating technical documentation.
• Management of security and FinOps (cost optimization) aspects on the project environments.
• Ensure the security of development and deployment processes, by guaranteeing the implementation of appropriate controls to protect company data and assets.
