Project overview
An international company in the energy sector is looking for an experienced Linux System Engineer to support its large-scale Linux-based IT infrastructure. In this role, you will work with internal teams and other specialists to keep a company-wide environment stable, secure, and highly automated.

Furthermore, you will contribute to problem management by identifying root causes and proposing long-term solutions.
A key focus is the continuous improvement of automation through scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and automated workflows. You will collaborate with other teams to create secure, compliant, and well-monitored environments and participate in R&D initiatives to evaluate new technologies.
We expect at least four years of experience in IT operations with containerized, virtualized, and physical Linux infrastructures in large enterprise environments. Profound knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, Git-based workflows, and container technologies is required. Understanding of ITIL processes is necessary. Language skills in Dutch or French (fluent) and English (professional) are required; German language skills are an advantage.
