Job description
The role involves defining performance test strategies, creating test scenarios, and conducting automated load, stress, and scaling tests. The engineer will analyze performance bottlenecks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Project overview
Definition of performance test strategies and standards.
Creation of realistic load test scenarios.
Execution and automation of load, stress, and scaling tests.
Analysis of performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure.
Integration of performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Creation of management and technical reports.
Requirements
Several years of experience in performance engineering or performance testing
Very good knowledge of k6 and/or Apache JMeter
Experience with load, stress, spike, endurance, capacity, and scalability tests
Experience testing APIs, backend systems, databases, and distributed systems
Experience with Kafka and/or Lobster or asynchronous messaging technologies
Knowledge of Grafana and monitoring/observability solutions
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated tests
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
