For one of our clients in the telecommunications industry, we are currently looking for an M&A Transaction PMO Consultant.

Responsibilities

Professional background

• Creation and updating of an integrated transaction plan including documented milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
• Consulting on coordination, monitoring, and ensuring transparency of deal streams within the scope of Deal Execution PMO
• Creation and consolidation of overviews of open points, decisions, risks, dependencies, and identified matters in the transaction context
• Creation of documentation for transaction-related work packages and their processing status
• Preparation of information on contractual, financial, tax, personnel, IT, operational, and commercial transaction matters
• Creation of closing checklists including documented tasks, deadlines, and implementation statuses
• Documentation of conditions, approvals, supplementary agreements, and other closing-relevant transaction components
• Creation of decision documents, status reports, and management summaries on transaction-relevant matters
• Creation of consolidated presentations of risks, open points, decisions, dependencies, and possible courses of action
• Preparation of complex transaction matters in German and English for management documents
• Milestones:
• Creation of an integrated transaction plan with documented milestones, dependencies, and critical path
• Creation of consolidated overviews of transaction-related work packages and their processing status
• Creation of closing checklists with documented tasks, deadlines, and implementation statuses
• Creation of status reports, decision documents, and management summaries
• Creation of consolidated presentations of risks, open points, decisions, and dependencies
• Experience in the M&A environment, ideally with sell-side transactions between signing and closing
• Experience in Transaction PMO and in coordinating deal streams
• Industry knowledge in telecommunications, ideally in the context of M&A transactions
• Knowledge in transaction planning, closing management, and risk management
• Experience with status reports, management presentations, and decision documents
• Ability for structured analysis of complex issues and coordination of various specialist areas
• Understanding of financial, tax, legal, operational, and IT-related transaction topics
• Very good German and English language skills

The subject of the assignment is the technical support of a sell-side M&A transaction in the period between signing and closing. The scope of services includes the creation and preparation of transaction-related planning, documentation, and decision-making documents, as well as the structured presentation of dependencies, risks, open points, and closing-relevant matters. Furthermore, the assignment includes the creation of reporting and documentation artifacts for the transparent presentation of transaction progress.
