We are looking for a fixed-term Machine and Plant Operator (m/f/d) with technical knowledge to strengthen our production in our adhesives division at UHU in Bühl.

Responsibilities

Your team:

You will work in a team of machine operators and transporters on individual assigned machines and report to the Head of Finishing.

• Operation (monitoring and control) of individual assigned filling and packaging machines
• Documentation of process flows
• Independent setup, adjustment, and commissioning of machines according to instructions
• Technical guidance, onboarding, and training of employees on the assigned machines
• Coordination and prioritization of production orders and order changes within the shift
• Shared responsibility for order, cleanliness, and work safety in the work area
• Participation in the continuous improvement process
• Completed technical or craft apprenticeship, e.g., as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or comparable qualification
• Experience in operating and managing machines and plants, and ideally initial experience in a coordinating role
• Technical understanding and good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Willingness to work shifts (2-shift operation) and, if necessary, on weekends
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured, and safety-oriented way of working combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
