We are looking for a Mainframe Application Developer with Cobol/Natural experience for a banking client, starting January 1, 2027, with an option for extension. The role involves maintenance, development, and integration of mainframe applications.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for a Mainframe Application Developer (m/f/d) Cobol/Natural starting January 1, 2027, for the expected duration until the end of 2027 with the option for extension.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and further development of the Helaba mainframe applications (ZDV-Basis, Kontokorrent, Kredit)
- Implementation of IT requirements for the mainframe systems
- Connection of the mainframe systems to the new SAP core banking systems
- Analysis and processing of 3rd level incidents
- Updating and maintenance of the application systems' documentation according to customer standards
- Support of tests and go-lives
Requirements
- Very good knowledge and experience in application development on the IBM mainframe with the tools Cobol, Natural, Adabas, DB2, IBM-Tivoli, among others.
- Knowledge of typical banking processes in IT and the banking business areas
