The client is also open to profiles who are not yet Mainframe experts but have a good technical foundation and a genuine desire to upskill.

• Provide real-time technical assistance to resolve Mainframe-related issues and incidents via the Jira ticketing system, as well as in project support.
• Maintain the development tools used by the Z community in operational condition: preventive maintenance strategies, technical migrations, and version upgrades.
• Continuously monitor development LPAR performance, analyze trends, and formulate recommendations to optimize resources and costs.
• In partnership with the operations team, monitor, control, and optimize non-production Mainframe environments to ensure security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective coordination between software and underlying infrastructure.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize failures and unexpected downtime.
• Train users on software usage and maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate common problem resolution.
• Monitor and resolve daily incidents related to TWS/OPC application management, particularly for ADT and CERTIFICATION environments.
• Participate in migration and decommissioning projects for obsolete technologies (e.g., opening the mainframe to the open world with zDevOps).
• Lead training sessions and mentoring based on skills (CICS, MQSERIES, Z/OS, etc.).
• Maintain existing internal technical toolsets in operational condition and develop new tools.
• MVS, OPC, JCL, TSO, CHANGEMAN, IDZ, PDTOOLS, CICS, DB2, SQL
• Desired knowledge in the open world: Git, Python, Java, Javascript
• Very strong knowledge of Mainframe environments and associated tools required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other tribes/departments.
• Integration of modern tools and practices into the Mainframe environment to improve operational efficiency.
• Curious and willing.
• Able to work in pairs.
• Capable of managing multiple subjects in parallel.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Comfortable assisting and helping other users.
• Open to upskilling in Mainframe.
• Capable of development and data analysis (especially Excel).
