- Sound practical experience in software development with PL/1 (PL/I)
- Experience in the development and processing of batch processes
- Knowledge in the maintenance, error analysis, and further development of existing applications
- Experience with legacy or host environments
- At least 2-3 years of relevant practical development experience
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Experience with Mainframe systems
- Knowledge of Unix-based environments
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Knowledge of Eclipse as well as Git/GitHub
- Project experience in the insurance sector
- Experience in modernizing existing legacy applications
- Willingness for 2-3 on-site days per month in Munich

Task Description
- Maintenance, support, and further development of an existing business-critical application
- Development, customization, and optimization of applications using PL/1 (PL/I)
- Development, support, and optimization of batch processes
- Performing error analysis, debugging, and resolving technical issues
- Support and further development of existing host and legacy systems
- Ensuring the stability and performance of existing applications
- Use of modern development tools and version control
- Technical documentation and collaboration with the existing development team
