Freelance MATLAB Software Developer needed for an ongoing NMR project in the energy sector, focusing on GUI development and application deployment.
Project overview
For one of our end clients from the energy sector, we are currently looking for a freelance MATLAB Software Developer with expertise in GUI development & application deployment.
As part of an ongoing NMR project, a MATLAB-based engineering application is being developed.
Responsibilities
- Development of a MATLAB-based GUI,
- Input and output of data,
- Visualization and export of calculation results,
- Integration of existing MATLAB calculation components,
- Creation of an executable application (EXE) from the MATLAB application,
- Software tests and basic documentation
Requirements
Desirable:
- Sound programming skills in MATLAB and practical experience in developing software applications
- Experience in developing graphical user interfaces (GUI) with MATLAB, ideally with MATLAB App Designer
- Knowledge in integrating existing MATLAB functions and calculation algorithms
- Experience in data processing, data visualization, and importing/exporting various data formats
- Knowledge in deploying executable MATLAB applications, ideally with MATLAB Compiler
- Experience in conducting software tests and technical documentation
- Independent, structured, and analytical way of working
- Experience in developing technical and/or scientific engineering applications
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming with MATLAB
- Knowledge in processing and visualizing measurement and signal data
- Experience in NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) or comparable measurement methods
