Responsibilities

• Preparation and execution of mechanical commissioning
• Commissioning of water circuits, cooling water systems, and chillers
• Functional testing of pumps, valves, fittings, and piping systems
• Testing of pressure, flow, temperatures, and tightness
• Filling, flushing, and venting of water systems
• Commissioning and testing of cooling supply for server rooms and technical areas
• Execution and support of functional, system, and redundancy tests
• Troubleshooting as well as documentation and tracking of defects
• Coordination with project team, subcontractors, and other commissioning trades
• Creation and maintenance of commissioning and test documentation

Requirements

Availability for on-site deployment in Lübbenau

• Demonstrable data center experience – mandatory requirement
• Several years of experience in Mechanical Commissioning / mechanical commissioning management
• Sound knowledge of cooling water, refrigeration, and piping systems
• Experience with chillers, pumps, valves, and mechanical control technology
• Understanding of redundant and operationally critical systems in the data center environment
• Independent and structured way of working
• German or very good English

For an ongoing data center project in Lübbenau, we are looking for two experienced freelance Mechanical Commissioning Engineers.

The project entry is planned for the beginning of December 2026 to prepare for commissioning. Operational commissioning starts in January 2027.
