The role focuses on the safe, high-quality, and timely execution of mechanical construction work, from installation and testing to completion and handover. Collaboration is preferred on a freelance or self-employed basis.

Responsibilities
- Coordination and supervision of mechanical construction work within the assigned project scope.
- Management of interfaces between contractors, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and client teams.
- Supervision of contractors regarding work safety, quality, deadlines, productivity, and degree of completion.
- Support of construction scheduling, definition of work sequences, short-term scheduling (Look-ahead), and removal of obstacles in the construction process.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical regulations, standards, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Support with Mechanical Completion, punch list management, handover documentation, and preparation for commissioning.
- Creation of progress reports, identification of risks, and reporting on construction performance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in mechanical construction management on large EPC/EPCM projects.
- Sound technical knowledge in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), piping, utility systems, plant and equipment installation, and technical building equipment.
- Project experience in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, life sciences, data center construction, or other regulated industries.
- Proven experience in managing mechanical contractors during the construction, completion, and handover phases.
- Experience with Mechanical Completion and commissioning processes.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, coordination, and problem-solving.
- Project experience in Germany; German language skills are an advantage.
- Fluent English
