We are looking for an experienced mechatronics engineer with a focus on vacuum technology for our location in Darmstadt. In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical assembly work on complex systems and be responsible for the integration, testing, and commissioning of vacuum components.

Your tasks include the assembly and integration of vacuum components, carrying out pump-down and leak tests, and leak detection using modern equipment. You will also lay out cable routes, perform electrical wiring, and assemble and test cables and electrical components.

For this position, you need a completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer, electronics technician, or electrical specialist. Practical experience in the assembly and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems is required. Ideally, you have knowledge of vacuum technology, such as turbo pumps or leak tests. You work safely with multimeters, crimping tools, and common assembly tools, and can read and implement wiring, circuit, and schematic diagrams. Knowledge of EPLAN is an advantage. Familiarity with relevant DIN/VDE regulations and electrical safety standards is assumed.
