Mechatronics Technician

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for our location in Thuringia. You will be working on-site and will be responsible for the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of machines, systems, and laser systems.

Your tasks include control cabinet assembly as well as electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic installations. You will carry out assembly and testing work on complete systems and individual components and will be responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and service assignments at the customer's site. You will analyze technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and parts lists, perform fault diagnoses, and rectify malfunctions in systems. Additionally, you will support the optimization of existing processes in the manufacturing environment and document your work with common tools such as MS Office or ERP systems.

For this position, you should have a completed technical training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent. You have sound knowledge in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams, as well as practical experience in the assembly of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assemblies. Knowledge of CAD systems such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, as well as basic knowledge of CNC technology and PLC controls (e.g., Siemens S7), would be desirable. A valid driver's license class B and fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
