Job description
Seeking a Medior/Senior Tester and Test Automation Engineer for the BAS application team, working within an Agile/Scrum environment to develop and automate testing for subsidy processes.
Project overview
Assignment Description
BAS is a complex, extensive USoft application for large subsidy processes/schemes that often follow the same process. If specific adjustments are needed for execution, the structure, rules, and screens need to be expanded. To be successful in this role, it is important that you have some experience with data-driven and rule-based system design/development. It is important that you understand the customer process (subsidy processes and schemes) so that you can align your tests and automation accordingly.
The software development team consists of a PO, analysts, functional administrators, testers, developers, test automation, a scrum master, and an architect. Work is based on agile/scrum, where the Product Owner determines priorities and the team or teams ensure the refinements and delivery of new software, working towards a higher degree of automation. In addition to new functionalities, attention is paid to version control, compliance, and maintenance. A Jira/Kanban board is used, and progress is discussed daily. The Scrum Master facilitates the process and ensures that impediments are removed.
To meet the business demand, we are looking for a new tester/test automation engineer for the BAS team. The activities include:
Background of the assignment

This means you are daily involved in application development on existing components and/or new components to be built in collaboration with your colleagues. You communicate proactively. You quickly notice when calamities or misunderstandings arise and are someone who thrives in an integrated DevOps team.

Additional Information
When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the DBA Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.
The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.
