Quality-/Test-Engineer – Test Management for Identity and Access Management

Project overview

Support is sought for the further development of an application for user and identity management in quality and test management. The role is responsible for test design and execution, coordinating test catalogs and results with business departments, and contributing to a robust acceptance.

Responsibilities

Technical Environment

The professional context includes Identity and Access Management applications and experience with the One Identity Manager. Collaboration is with business departments and stakeholders in test management; service delivery is primarily remote with occasional on-site appointments.

Deployment Arrangement according to project documents: 220 PT in total, of which 4 Onsite PT and 216 Remote PT (mathematically 98.18% remote). The Freelancermap deployment type is rounded up to the next higher available remote level (100%); the on-site days remain binding.

Contract Type: Freelance. Independent project support on a fee basis; no employee leasing and no permanent employment.

• Design of test cases and development, coordination, and documentation of test catalogs
• Estimation of test efforts and coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Generation of test data and execution of functional and non-functional tests
• Execution of predefined test cases and documentation of defects
• Execution of tests with specific test tools and tracking of results
• Participation in test planning and acceptance workshops
• M1: Extensive, current knowledge in test design (alternatively demonstrable through 3 project references in test design in medium and large projects with at least 2,200 PT/year in the last 5 years or ISTQB certification Full Advanced Level)
• M2: One Identity Manager Know-how: proven experience with the One Identity Manager (min. 3 years)
• S1: Identity and Access Management Expertise: proven experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications (Weighting: 60%)
• S2: English spoken and written – Level B2 equivalent (Weighting: 10%)
• S3: Problem-solving/Work organization know-how: very good ability for problem-solving and work organization in test management, process-oriented and business thinking (will be checked in the interview) (Weighting: 10%)
• S4: Know-how in leadership/team behavior: Reliability, accuracy, communication, and willingness to work in a team (will be checked in the interview) (Weighting: 10%)
• S5: Know-how in customer/service orientation: Creativity and know-how for submitting solution proposals (will be checked in the interview) (Weighting: 10%)
