Mendix Developer

Project overview

For our end client in the southern German region, we are looking for a Mendix Developer to support and further develop an existing low-code development environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and evaluation of the existing low-code development environment with a focus on Mendix
• Conducting code reviews and identifying technical optimization potential
• Introduction and further development of development standards, best practices, and quality assurance measures
• Optimization of code repositories, version control, and development processes
• Conception and implementation of suitable unit tests and test strategies
• Support in professionalizing software development regarding maintainability, scalability, and quality
• Technical consulting and support for the existing development team
• Knowledge transfer, coaching, and imparting best practices
• Optional: Participation in data warehouse and analytics topics, especially testing, validation, and quality assurance
• Optional: Support in the Google low-code environment (Google Apps Script / AppSheet)

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in development with Mendix
• Sound knowledge in the conception, development, and optimization of low-code applications
• Experience with code reviews, software quality, and structured development processes
• Knowledge of testing, unit tests, version control, and code repositories
• Experience in defining and establishing technical development standards
• Senior-level experience with the ability to critically evaluate and sustainably improve existing development approaches
• Strong communication skills and experience in knowledge transfer and coaching development teams
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
