Experienced freelance consultant needed for the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in Finance for a client in the social economy sector. The project aims for a successful preparation and support of the go-live by January 1, 2027.
Project overview
For our client from the social economy sector in Saxony, we are looking for an experienced freelance consultant for the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the area of financial accounting. The goal of the project is the successful preparation and support of the go-live on 01.01.2027.
Responsibilities
- Professional support of financial accounting during introduction, test phase, and go-live
- Support with tests, error analysis, and coordination with the implementation partner
- Support with training and enablement of key users
- Participation in year-end and migration planning
- Support with the first month-end closings and VAT pre-declarations
- Documentation of open points and ensuring smooth processes
Requirements
Framework Conditions
- Several years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance
- Experience in ERP implementation projects including go-live
- Very good knowledge of financial accounting, asset accounting, payment transactions, and VAT
- Experience with tests, training, and user support
- Fluent German
- Start: 09.11.2026 at the latest
- Duration: until 31.03.2027 with extension
- Utilization: 2-3 days per week, up to 5 days at peak times
- Deployment: Remote
