MicroStrategy Architect
Guildford - Hybrid/Remote
£600 to £700 per day - Inside IR35
6-month contract
We are working with a global financial services organisation looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Architect to play a key role in their cloud migration and the optimisation of their enterprise wide MicroStrategy platform.
Sitting within the BI Centre of Excellence, this is a hands-on role covering platform architecture, performance, security, and the adoption of newer MicroStrategy capabilities across the estate, including Mosaic and the latest cloud-native features

- Provide technical leadership across MicroStrategy change and cloud migration activity.
- Lead adoption of cloud native and AI capabilities, including Mosaic.
- Design and review dossier, cube and schema architecture for performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Own technical governance, best practice and the future roadmap for BI visualisation and data provisioning.
- Support governance, compliance and InfoSec reviews across AI features, connectivity and access.
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and workflows across multiple data sources.
- Drive reporting strategy alongside architecture teams to improve how data is accessed and used.
- Implement appropriate data security and privacy controls.
- Provide technical direction to onshore and offshore developers.
- Proven experience as a MicroStrategy Architect or Senior MicroStrategy Developer within a complex enterprise environment.
- Expert SQL skills.
- Strong MicroStrategy schema design, dossier development and performance tuning experience.
- Good understanding of MicroStrategy AI capabilities, including Mosaic, AI enabled dashboards and bots.
- Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy security and access control, ideally including InfoSec reviews or audits.
- Experience contributing to cloud migration programmes.
- Strong ETL experience using tools such as Alteryx, DataStage or Databricks.
- Expert knowledge of data modelling.
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to provide technical leadership.
