For our client, we are looking for 1 Middleware Engineer Linux (m/f/d) Remote/Stuttgart.

The focus is on the operation and further development of Linux-based middleware, web, and platform services.

Project-related self-assessment on a scale of: 1 = 10% - 10 = 100%

Linux, Middleware Operation, JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, NGINX, PostgreSQL and MariaDB, Security Hardening, Troubleshooting of productive platforms, Monitoring with Prometheus, Zabbix or comparable solutions

• Several years of experience in Linux and middleware operation
• JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, NGINX
• PostgreSQL and MariaDB
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Zabbix, or comparable solutions
• Troubleshooting of productive platforms
• Deployments, changes, and migrations
• Security hardening
• Technical documentation and operating concepts
• Several years of relevant experience in the Linux/Open Source environment
• German at least C1
• Willingness for occasional on-site assignments in the Stuttgart region
• Existing security clearance or willingness to undergo a security check
• Client: Public Sector
• Assignment region: Stuttgart / Baden-Württemberg
• Work model: predominantly remote / home office possible
• Remote share: currently planned at approx. 80%
• On-site: as needed, currently approx. every 14 days
• Utilization: 100%
• Language: German min. C1
