SAP Basis Administrator

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator (m/f/d) for an exciting project in Berlin. The position is oriented towards 100% onsite basis and starts in November 2026 with a duration of at least 6 months.

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of SAP S/4HANA systems. Your tasks include planning, implementation, and optimization of system landscapes, as well as performing maintenance, upgrades, patches, and system refreshes. You will analyze and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and create technical documentation. Furthermore, you will work closely with engineering teams to optimize operational processes. On-call duty and shift work are part of the activity.

The following qualifications are required: several years of experience in the SAP Basis environment, sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and experience with installation, operation, and upgrades of SAP systems. You should be proficient in handling SAP HANA, Windows, and Linux systems and possess expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Knowledge in the setup and operation of complex SAP system landscapes is necessary. A structured and self-reliant way of working is assumed.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as knowledge of Terraform and Ansible, would be advantageous.
