• Contract type: Fixed-term for 2 years with the possibility of subsequent transfer to a permanent employment contract.
• Field service activities related to meters and billing at metering points in the areas of gas, water, and heat
• Installation, dismantling, replacement, and commissioning of measuring technology
• Installation and commissioning of gas, water, and heat meters, as well as gas pressure regulating devices
• Maintenance, testing, and replacement of auxiliary devices, e.g., standpipes and gas pressure regulating devices
• Independent analysis and professional troubleshooting of faults on measuring and auxiliary devices
• Technical advice to our customers on metering point setup and house connection technology
• Safe and professional recommissioning of supply systems after interruptions
• Regular cyclical replacement of gas, water, and heat meters
• Support for gas, water, and heat network operations as needed
• Digital documentation of performed activities via PC and mobile data collection systems
• Support for the rollout of intelligent metering systems (iMSys/SMGW) after appropriate training and qualification
• Participation in on-call duty after appropriate training
• Completed vocational training as a Plant Mechanic SHK, Gas and Water Installer (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, professional experience in the field of gas, water, or heat technology
• Knowledge of applicable technical regulations and standards, especially in house connection technology (e.g., TAB, DVGW, or TRGI), is an advantage.
• Familiarity with handling and installing meter technology
• Experience with data collection systems and mobile devices is desirable
• Initial experience working with energy supply companies is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Interest in further training in the field of intelligent metering systems and, in the future, supporting the smart meter rollout as an electrically instructed person (EuP)
• Willingness to participate regularly in training and further education
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Driver's license class B
