Motorsport XL Digital

Project overview

Development of a digital magazine platform – MXL Digital

For the Motorsport XL motorsport magazine, published since 1991, we are looking for an experienced software developer or web agency for the conception and development of a professional, browser-based digital magazine platform.

Under the name MXL Digital, our subscribers will in the future be able to comfortably read the complete issues of the printed magazine as well as special editions on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

We are not looking for a simple PDF display or a standard flipbook solution, but rather a high-quality, standalone platform with a modern user interface, very good display quality, and integrated subscriber management.

Technical Requirements

Rights and Long-Term Independence

A significant component of the project is the long-term technical independence of the client.

For the individually developed software, comprehensive, preferably exclusive, and temporally unlimited usage and editing rights are expected.

The complete source code of the individually developed components, as well as the necessary technical documentation, must be handed over.

The platform must also be maintainable and further developable by other qualified service providers.

Third-party software used, licensing models, and ongoing costs must be disclosed.

Service Provider Sought

We are looking for a reliable development partner with experience in implementing sophisticated web applications, ideally in the area of digital publications, document viewers, or access-protected online platforms.

A comprehensible technical concept, a realistic time schedule, and a transparent cost breakdown are expected.

Full Project Description

For MXL Digital, a detailed service description with functional, technical, organizational, and legal requirements is available.

We will gladly provide this complete project description upon request to interested and suitable developers or agencies.

Based on this, we then expect a detailed offer including information on development duration, one-time costs, ongoing operating costs, maintenance, and usage rights.
