We are looking for an MS Fabric Administrator.

Description:

As part of the already implemented Microsoft Fabric, an experienced Microsoft Fabric Administrator is sought. The goal is the sustainable administration, further development, and optimization of the platform, as well as ensuring stable operation of the analytics and data platform landscape.

Responsibilities

• Administration and operation of the existing Microsoft Fabric platform
• Configuration, monitoring, and scaling of Fabric Capacities and resources
• Setup and management of domains, workspaces, and governance structures
• Setup, configuration, and operation of the Microsoft Fabric Gateway
• Connection and integration of data sources, as well as support for interfaces to Azure and on-premises systems
• Analysis and resolution of disruptions, as well as performance and error analysis
• Technical coordination with infrastructure, network, and data teams
• Support with network and connectivity topics in the Microsoft Fabric environment
• Documentation of the system landscape, configurations, and operating processes
• Consultation on best practices for operation, governance, and scaling of the platform

Requirements

Framework:

• Several years of experience in the administration of Microsoft Fabric
• Experience in managing and scaling Fabric Capacities
• Experience with Fabric domains, workspaces, and governance concepts
• Know-how in setting up and operating Fabric Gateways
• Experience in troubleshooting complex platform and integration scenarios
• Good knowledge in the areas of networks and system integration
• Experience in Microsoft Azure environments
