Nautobot Developer

Project overview

We are looking for a Python / Nautobot NetDevOps Developer to contribute to the transformation of a network infrastructure industrialization ecosystem towards a NetDevOps foundation based notably on Nautobot, NAP, Nornir, and Netmiko.

You have proven experience in NetDevOps-oriented Python development, with operational mastery of Nautobot, Nornir, and Netmiko. Technically autonomous, you are capable of handling complex developments while working effectively in a team.

The mission requires a presence 4 days a week on-site in Maxéville (54) or Saint-Herblain (44).

• Develop components to migrate existing uses to Nautobot / NAP.
• Take charge of technical User Stories in an Agile / SAFe environment.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the Nautobot data model.
• Develop Python scripts for data feeding, import, transformation, and synchronization.
• Automate the generation and operation of network configurations.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Produce technical acceptance test plans and correct identified anomalies.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to secure development standards.
• Excellent command of Python.
• Mastery of Nautobot.
• Mastery of Nornir and Netmiko.
• Solid experience with REST APIs.
• Mastery of Git / GitLab: branches, merge requests, versioning.
• Good command of Linux.
• Knowledge of Jinja2 for configuration generation.
• Knowledge of Ansible / AAP.
• Knowledge of Docker / Podman.
• Good understanding of local network environments.
• Knowledge of NAP and Paramiko is appreciated.
