• German at native speaker level
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an inspector in the railway sector
• At least 5 years of experience in railway/rail vehicle projects
• Valid certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in:
• PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing) Level 2
• Magnetic Testing (MT) Level 2
• Both certifications must be present
• Performance of PAUT and MT inspections on safety-relevant chassis components
• Assessment and documentation of inspection results
• Examination of anomalies and defects on wheels, wheelsets, and bogie components
• Close cooperation with the operator and the technical contact persons on-site
• Compliance with applicable quality and safety standards in the railway sector

Utilization: Full-time, 8 hours daily

Wuppertal (100% on-site deployment)

Contract Type: Freelance

Two experienced NDT inspectors are needed at short notice for an ongoing inspection project in the area of the Wuppertal suspension railway.

PAUT – Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing Level 2

Magnetic Testing Level

The focus is on the inspection of wheelsets, wheels, and bogie components.

The deployed experts will support directly at the plant and perform non-destructive testing, particularly on the following components:

• Wheelsets and wheels
• Bogies and bogie frames
• Connection of the bogie frame to the superstructure
• Identification and assessment of cracks or defects
• Start: ab sofort
