NDT Inspector (m/f) with ET Certification Required

Project overview

For our partner in the rail vehicle industry, we are looking for an NDT Inspector / ET Eddy Current Testing (m/f) on a freelance basis for the Bonn region, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Performing electrical tests after maintenance or repair
• Testing of wiring according to circuit diagrams
• Fault diagnosis using measuring instruments
• Creation and maintenance of test reports and documentation of results
• Support with vehicle acceptance
• Functional testing
• Inspection of battery systems and charging equipment
• Testing of pantographs and high-voltage equipment
• Troubleshooting of faults with diagnostic software
• Release of vehicles for passenger operation

Requirements

• Training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or electrical engineer
• Switching authorization or work on electrical systems
• Valid ET certification and practical experience in the ET environment
• Knowledge of DGUV Regulation 3 and its application
• Reading of circuit and wiring diagrams
• Certification according to EN ISO 9712
• Very good German language skills

Nice to have

• Experience with wheelsets and axles in the rail vehicle sector
• EN 15085 knowledge (rail vehicles)
• Basic ETCS knowledge
• Knowledge of TCMS systems (Train Control & Management System)
