.NET MAUI Developer - Focus Android

Project overview

Framework Parameters:

For the development and implementation of a future store system "FUX" (Future User Experience), we are looking for your technological expertise.

In this already ongoing project, you will be responsible for replacing the existing in-house development "ZORA" (C# / .NET 4.73) with a modern, cross-platform Android solution based on .NET MAUI.

• Location: Remote & in Darmstadt (95/5)
• Utilization: Full-time (40 PT)

Responsibilities

Our Requirements

• You will develop the new, Android-based store system "FUX" using C#, .NET Core, and the .NET MAUI environment.
• You will integrate REST APIs and Microsoft Azure services and use GitHub Actions for development workflows.
• You will ensure software quality through architectural patterns, state-of-the-art engineering methods, and clean code principles, including efficient documentation.
• You will constructively transform existing brownfield code, utilizing technical abstraction and domain- and model-driven methods.
• You will drive the implementation of the new system within an agile project environment according to SCRUM.
• Proven project experience with cross-platform frameworks such as .NET MAUI or Xamarin.
• Sound experience in app development for mobile devices with a focus on Android.
• Several years of experience with C# and .NET
• Confident handling of REST APIs, cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, clean code principles, and state-of-the-art software engineering.
• Competence in technical abstraction and domain/model-driven methodologies combined with a solution-oriented approach to legacy code in agile teams.
• Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing
