Project overview

For our client in Nuremberg, we are looking for a Network & Data Center Expert.

Responsibilities

Profile:

• Support of the network and data center infrastructure
• Support of HP/HPE server hardware
• Configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of network devices and switch infrastructure
• Support of VMware, Windows Server, and File Services
• Participation in the planned conversion of the network infrastructure to fiber optics
• Management and maintenance of access permissions on file servers
• Support of data distribution rooms and assistance with necessary network changes
• Error analysis, troubleshooting, and operational 2nd-level support
• Documentation of the IT infrastructure
• Several years of experience in network, server, and data center administration
• Sound knowledge of switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and network configuration
• Experience with HP network hardware is an advantage
• Good knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, and File Services
• Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with file servers and authorization concepts
• Hands-on mentality and independent working style
