Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (m/f/d) on a freelance basis to help design and configure the network infrastructure of a cloud platform.
The Framework
Responsibilities
Configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and network fabric components
Setup and configuration of security gateways
Implementation of Linux-based routing
Automation of network configuration with Ansible
Requirements
You have practical experience in at least the following areas:
Switches, routers, and firewalls: approx. 5 years
Network fabric configuration, preferably Cisco: approx. 4 years
Security gateways, e.g., genua or Fortinet: approx. 2 years
Linux: approx. 2 years
Scripting and automation with Ansible: approx. 2 years
Kubernetes: approx. 1 year
Linux-based routers: approx. 1 year
