Network, Telecom & Security Architect – ZTNA / PKI / Segmentation

Project overview

Our client is undergoing an organizational transformation towards a hybrid project/product model. As part of this, they are strengthening their network, telecom, and security architecture team.

Reporting to the Technical and Network Architecture unit, you will work at the heart of a hybrid IT system (datacenters, remote sites, cloud, operator networks) to design, evolve, and govern network and telecom architectures.

Your short-term priorities:

• Contribute to the scoping and selection of a ZTNA solution for securing access to a park of remote sites
• Contribute to the integration of MFA, considering security requirements, architectural constraints, and interactions with existing systems
• Finalize the deployment of the PKI solution

Responsibilities

Subsequently: design and deployment of network segmentation and micro-segmentation, network & security audits on new perimeters, securing cloud hosting.

Deliverables: Network & Telecom DAT, Design Authority documents, scoping notes and architecture recommendations, contributions to the standards and patterns repository, regular reporting (progress, risks, decisions).

As an expert network architect, you have significant experience in complex, multi-site environments, with a strong cybersecurity culture applied to networks. You know how to produce quality deliverables and adopt a consulting and co-construction approach with cross-functional teams.

• Develop and document network and telecom architectures for projects and products (DAT)
• Design solutions aligned with security, availability, and performance requirements, consistent with existing systems and internal standards
• Contribute to infrastructure foundations: interconnections, datacenters, LAN/WAN, cloud, VPN, SD-WAN, IP telephony
• Integrate supervision, resilience, and maintainability from the design phase
• Support architects, cybersecurity consultants, and project managers on network and security aspects
• Identify and manage technical risks related to interconnections and network security
• Be proactive in proposing solutions for segmentation, virtualization, cloud networking, SDN, and automation
• Present your cases in Design Authority and participate in architecture reviews and security committees
• Enrich the Network & Telecom architecture repository (standards, patterns, service catalogs)
• Expertise in complex and multi-site network architecture
• Proven mastery of ZTNA, SD-WAN, and cloud networking
• Proven mastery of Arista, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Huawei solutions
• Proven mastery of cybersecurity applied to network architectures
• Mastery of routing, switching, firewall, VPN, load balancing, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DMZ
• Ability to write DAT, diagrams, and technical documentation
