Fresh produce, international supply chains, and our own production: As the frutal group of companies in and around Hamburg, we ensure that fruit and vegetables arrive exactly where they are needed. This is made possible by close collaboration between purchasing, production, warehousing, and logistics, and it holds great potential for good digital solutions.

This is where you come in.

We are consolidating all companies in our group from previously different ERP systems onto a common Odoo 20 platform, for up to 20 users. We know our day-to-day business inside out. What we lack is your Odoo experience to turn it into a system that truly moves us forward. You don't just implement requirements: You question processes, show us what the Odoo standard can already do, and advise us on configuration and architecture. Decisions and project management are up to us.

Short paths instead of ticket ping-pong.

You work directly with the people who use your solutions daily. And when you are on-site with us, you see what your code moves, from goods receipt to delivery.

First project phase

Analysis of legacy systems and processes, decision on system architecture, basic configuration, and migration concept. Afterwards, we will plan the next steps together.

Job facts: Direct client project

• Consulting on configuration and architecture: You present options with pros and cons, we decide
• Standard first: Solve requirements preferably with Odoo standard functions, custom development only where necessary
• Configuration of the modules Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and Logistics
• Setup of the multi-tenant architecture including multi-company and intercompany processes
• Development of custom modules and interfaces (REST/JSON-RPC, EDI, third-party systems)
• Technical data migration from legacy systems: Extraction, mapping, import, validation
• Clean, upgrade-safe implementation with Git, code review, and documentation
• Data verification and cleansing: We know our data, you provide structure and tools
• Accounting: Our accounting department provides the business requirements, you map them in Odoo
• Testing and acceptance: You prepare the tests, our key users test with you
• Training: We plan them together and conduct them with our key users
• Several years of experience as an Odoo Developer with current versions and completed implementation or migration projects
• Profound knowledge of Odoo standard functions and the intuition for when standard is sufficient and when development makes sense
• Proven experience in customizing and developing Odoo apps (custom modules, extending standard modules)
• Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, Odoo ORM, XML/QWeb, and OWL/JavaScript
• Experience with multi-tenant setups (multi-company or separate databases) and intercompany processes
• Experience with interfaces and data migration from external ERP systems
• You advise understandably and at eye level, even with colleagues without an IT background
• Fluent German
• Industry knowledge in trade and production, ideally in the food or fresh produce sector
• German localization (DATEV, GoBD, e-invoicing)
• Experience with key user training
• Start: immediately
• Workload: approx. 80%, total duration approx. 6–12 months
