Oliver James is hiring on behalf of a prestigious insurance company for an Officer, Distribution Governance to join its Compliance Department. This is an 18-month contract role with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.

- Oversee and maintain the distribution governance framework to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on compliance matters relating to distribution channels.
- Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen distribution compliance across various platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a clear understanding of distribution policies and standards.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management on governance matters, risks, and progress.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, particularly within the insurance sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
