Operational Buyer / Material Planner SAP MM

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an Operational Buyer / Material Planner SAP MM to support a production plant in the heat pump sector.

Responsibilities

• Operative material planning and procurement of items from existing suppliers
• Creation and release of purchase orders in SAP MM based on existing purchase requisitions (BANF) and demands
• Checking and tracking of order confirmations
• Monitoring and tracking of purchase orders and delivery dates until complete delivery
• Maintenance and adjustment of planning parameters in the SAP system, especially reorder points and relevant planning parameters
• Processing and implementation of purchase requisitions and ensuring timely material availability
• Support of existing series products and operational day-to-day business
• Close coordination with internal departments and existing suppliers
• Active support of the team during a dynamic ramp-up phase
• No contract negotiations or contract management required

Requirements

• Sound experience in operative purchasing, material planning, or production planning
• Very good knowledge of SAP MM, especially in operative order processing and planning
• Experience with purchase requisitions (BANF), purchase orders, order confirmations, and delivery date tracking
• Routine knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
• Knowledge in technical procurement and handling technical articles and components
• Experience in the HVAC industry, especially in the area of heat pumps, air conditioning, or building technology is an advantage
• Experience in young production sites or in ramp-up phases
• Fluent English skills
• Czech and German language skills are an advantage
• Very good communication skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Strong team spirit and enjoyment of collaboration in a dynamic environment
• Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to maintain an overview even under high workload
