Job description
Support the development, enhancement, and stabilization of supply chains, including component procurement, supplier management, and process optimization.
Project overview
+ Support in the development, further development, and stabilization of supply chains
+ Participation in the procurement of components and assemblies in coordination with purchasing, development, and production
+ Support in the selection, support, and management of suppliers, as well as collaboration with Tier 1 suppliers
+ Preparation of quote comparisons and support in price, condition, and contract negotiations
+ Participation in industrialization, series production launch, and production projects, as well as ensuring material availability
+ Monitoring of delivery dates, inventories, and material requirements, as well as escalation of bottlenecks
+ Initial exposure to export control and compliance requirements is advantageous
+ Close collaboration with purchasing, production, logistics, development, and external suppliers
+ Creation and evaluation of key figures, reports, and analyses for supply chain optimization
+ Support in the optimization of procurement and supply chain processes
Requirements
+ Initial professional experience (approx. 2-5 years) in purchasing, supply chain management, material planning, or logistics
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive, electronics, mechanical engineering, aerospace, or defense
+ Initial experience in the procurement of components and assemblies
+ Initial exposure to supplier management and collaboration with international suppliers
+ Experience in material planning, scheduling, or ensuring material availability
+ Support of series production launches, industrialization, or new product introduction projects is advantageous
+ Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
+ Structured and solution-oriented way of working, as well as strong communication skills
+ Good German and English skills
+ Willingness to be on-site five days a week
