Optical Design Engineer | £60–£70 per hour | Outside IR35
iO Associates are aligned with an innovative medical devices company in Bristol seeking an Optical Design Engineer to support the development of new diagnostic technology.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in optical systems, integrated photonics or microscopy, with a strong background in optical design, practical development and proof-of-concept work.

- Experience in optical design and optical system development.
- Background in integrated photonics, microscopy or optical instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience building optical setups and developing proof-of-concept solutions.
- Strong practical problem-solving and prototyping skills.
