Oracle Database Administrator PL/SQL, DB Performance Tuning & SQL - Onsite in Wiesbaden

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator with PL/SQL, DB Performance Tuning & SQL, starting 01/2027 for an estimated duration until 12/2027 with the option for extension. The project is planned as full-time. The assignment will take place entirely onsite in Wiesbaden for the first 6 months and can then be done remotely by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of interfaces (Splunk, CheckMK)
• Error analysis of interfaces
• Communication between participants as well as the service provider and the client's internal operations
• Support and execution of relevant operational measures within the IT change process
• Installation and configuration of environments (Development/Test/Production)
• Creation of installation protocols
• Interface to operational departments for technical matters and questions
• Evaluation and analysis of reports
• Database analyses
• Analyses of database packages (PL/SQL code analyses)
• Database administration (extension of tablespaces, creation of restore points / DB backups / indexes / partitioning etc.)
• Creation, analysis, and testing of DB scripts
• Creation and processing of Jira, HP ALM errors and requirements
• Support and maintenance of DB operations Oracle RAC / Advanced Compression
