ORACLE Database Administrator with Ansible Skills, Remote / Hamburg

Project overview

For our client from the public sector, we are currently looking for an experienced ORACLE Database Administrator with skills in Ansible.

Important note: For project deployment, the willingness to undergo a SÜ2 security check according to § 9 SÜG is mandatory. Furthermore, service provision is only permitted from Germany.

In the project, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and further development of ORACLE database systems. The focus is on performance, backup & recovery, migration, automation, and ensuring stable and secure database operation. The goal of the project is to reliably further develop the existing database systems through targeted optimization, migration, and automation measures and to ensure their availability.

Responsibilities

• Administration, configuration, and optimization of ORACLE databases
• Performance analysis, tuning, and analysis and resolution of disruptions
• Planning, implementation, and monitoring of backup, recovery, and high availability solutions
• Execution of data migrations, upgrades, and patch and update measures
• Automation using scripting and documentation of work in Confluence

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in ORACLE database administration
• More than 3 years of experience with ORACLE databases and data migrations
• More than 3 years of experience with performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting
• More than 3 years of experience with Ansible
• More than 3 years of experience in testing and monitoring backup & recovery solutions and proficient use of Confluence

Utilization: Full-time, 5 days/week

30 project days remote, 4 project days on-site in Hamburg (in case of extension, it would be a total of 200 project days remote & 10 project days on-site)

Maximum hourly rate (remote): €58 net

Maximum hourly rate (on-site): €67 net
