Job description

Project overview

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Programme Manager with a strong focus on programme planning, scheduling and delivery governance to support a complex Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the integrated programme plan, ensuring all workstreams, dependencies, milestones and deliverables are clearly defined, tracked and aligned to the overall implementation roadmap.

This role requires someone who is hands-on with programme planning, rather than purely focused on high-level programme management.

Desirable Experience

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who have operated as an Oracle Fusion Programme Manager, ERP Programme Planning Lead, Integrated Planning Manager or Senior ERP Programme Planner.

The ideal individual will combine strong Oracle Fusion implementation experience with exceptional planning capabilities, taking a detailed, hands-on approach to managing programme schedules, dependencies and delivery milestones.

This is a planning-led position requiring someone who can build, manage and challenge an integrated programme plan, rather than simply oversee programme delivery.

  • Develop, own and maintain the integrated master programme plan across the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation.
  • Coordinate planning across functional, technical, integration, data migration, testing, cutover and business change workstreams.
  • Establish clear programme milestones, critical paths, dependencies and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with the Programme Director, System Integrator (SI), workstream leads and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Challenge delivery plans, identify gaps and ensure realistic timelines and resource allocations.
  • Track progress against agreed milestones, proactively identifying risks, delays and dependencies.
  • Manage programme-level RAID logs, planning assumptions and delivery constraints.
  • Support programme governance, reporting, steering committees and executive-level updates.
  • Ensure the SI's delivery plan is fully integrated with internal business activities and dependencies.
  • Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies where delivery milestones are at risk.
  • Coordinate planning for key implementation stages, including SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover and go-live readiness.
  • Significant experience managing and planning large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience developing and managing complex, integrated programme plans.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Finance, Procurement and associated ERP workstreams.
  • Experience working alongside major System Integrators on enterprise ERP implementations.
  • Excellent knowledge of programme dependencies, critical path analysis, milestone management and delivery governance.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet or equivalent planning tools.
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and delivery teams on timelines, assumptions and commitments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience working within complex, multi-workstream transformation environments.
  • Experience delivering Oracle Fusion ERP programmes within large, complex or highly regulated organisations.
  • Previous experience working in higher education or the public sector.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation recovery, replanning or programme mobilisation.
  • Knowledge of finance transformation, business process redesign and organisational change.
